Juliet Taylor, the creative mind behind the Newlyn Harbour Design Centre and the maker of chic coastal-inspired interiors, has launching her own range of fabrics designed in Newlyn Juliet has been working on her new fabric collection for two years and is really excited about the new range.

Influenced by the same light that inspired the Newlyn artists, the colours of trawlers, sailing boats, a summer beach and flowers in the lush Cornish hedges are captured in the brightness and fun of the new fabrics, cushions and bespoke soft furnishings she designs. The 100% cotton fabrics bright cheerful stripes will fill our homes with the vibrant colours of summer. Juliet has also designed a new range of cushions and seat cushions, aprons and other household goods made from her new woven (not printed) cotton fabrics to bring the joy of the coast into the homes, cottages, hotels and lives of loved ones near and far

She feels that what she has created in Newlyn is uniquely Cornish and she hopes it will develop into a Cornish Brand that will sell all over the world. Having run her own interior design company for the last 25 years carrying out many projects for Universities, hotels and many for the Houses of Parliament Juliet has an in-depth knowledge of the interior design market and is confident that the new designs will sell well. Juliet feels there is a bond between coastal regions throughout the world that should be celebrated and joined up.
